The reviews are in and Femme Fit 2011 was a huge success. The only competition of its kind pushed women to new levels of success and competition.
Turns out a large group of motivated women and dedicated volunteers can make for an amazing day. We want to take the time to thank the volunteers. What does "volunteer" mean? It means they put their regular Saturday plans aside, took time away from their own friends and family to make sure Femme Fit 2011 was BIG. It means they cheered, coached, judged every athlete, for every event, from 9am to 5pm. It means they get high fives or yelled at, but still stay professional. It means you had a great time competing, and loved Femme Fit 2011.

As an observer, this was one of the most uplifting fitness competitions I've seen in a long time. At the same time, none of the competitive spirit was diminished. These women wore their game faces AND wore smiles ... and some wore feather boas! Love it and can't wait for the next one.

Graceful and supportive in the face of the unknown run runner, the determined squat-er, the absolutely convinced it was a rep burpee-er. Many thanks for giving us your Saturday, supporting strength +women, and making femme fit a great event.
