Where do you train? Crossfit Oakland
What if any is your athletic background? I was mostly a ballerina growing up, with a bit of soccer thrown in. Then I started playing ice hockey in high school, and played that for two years of division III in college, where I learned some weightlifting. After that I was pretty sedentary for a while before discovering Bikram yoga and cycling after graduation, and then Crossfit just last summer/fall.
Which event are you looking forward to the most? Event 5, the deadlift/wall ball/box jumps. I like the ones that make me collapse at the end, plus after that one we're all done.
What advice do you have for nervous women competing in Femme Fit? Don't be scared. If I'm doing this after just 3 months of serious training (and then being on vacation/sick for the past 3 weeks), you have nothing to complain about
